Who is Kinshin?
Kinshin is a Japanese-styled Christian streetwear label built around the philosophy of kintsugi — the art of mending broken things with gold. We make garments for people who believe that what is broken can be made more beautiful than what was whole.
What does kintsugi have to do with faith?
Kintsugi treats breakage as part of an object's history, not something to hide. Christianity holds the same truth: grace enters through weakness, and the scar is sacred. Kinshin sits at that intersection. The gold vein on every garment marks where something was mended.
Where are your pieces made?
Our blanks come from Lane Seven (LS14001 hoodie), Comfort Colors (1717 tee), and Independent Trading Co. (SS3000 crewneck). Printing and fulfillment are handled by Monster Digital and SwiftPOD — both US-based DTG specialists.
Why print-on-demand?
We refuse to make something no one asked for. Every garment has a home before it exists. Print-on-demand means no waste, no overstock, and every piece is made intentionally — for you, when you order it.
How often do you release new pieces?
Quarterly drops. Each drop is a small collection anchored to a theme and a set of scriptures. Drop 001 — "Mended" — is our first.
How does the hoodie fit?
The "Restored" hoodie (LS14001) runs true to size. It's a 400 GSM heavyweight enzyme-washed fleece. Order your usual size; size up one if you want an oversized drape.
Does the tee shrink?
The "Gold Seam" tee (Comfort Colors 1717) is garment-dyed at 280 GSM. It may shrink approximately 3% on the first wash. If you're between sizes or prefer a looser fit, size up.
How does the crewneck fit?
The "Mended Vessel" crewneck (Independent Trading SS3000) is 380 GSM enzyme-washed fleece with a slightly boxy, relaxed cut that sits at the hip. True to size.
What is garment-dyeing?
The tee is dyed after assembly, not before — which gives it a slightly weathered, lived-in texture and softness from day one. Garment-dyed pieces may release a small amount of excess dye on the first wash. This is normal.
What if I receive the wrong item or something damaged?
Email us at kinshin@polsia.app with your order number and a photo. We will arrange a full reprint or refund — no questions, no friction.
Can I exchange for a different size?
Direct exchanges are not available because every piece is made to order. We don't carry warehouse inventory. If you receive a defective or wrong item, we'll make it right. For sizing, use our sizing guide before ordering.
Do you ship internationally?
Not yet. We currently ship within the United States only. If you'd like to be notified when international shipping becomes available, email kinshin@polsia.app.
How do I pay?
We accept all major credit and debit cards through Stripe. Checkout is secure, encrypted, and handled entirely by Stripe's payment infrastructure.
Are your cuts unisex?
Yes. All pieces are unisex. Check the sizing guide for exact measurements. For a relaxed fit, size up one from your usual.
