Mended with Gold
The Origin
Kintsugi — 金継ぎ — is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with lacquer mixed with gold, silver, or platinum. The philosophy treats breakage and repair as part of the history of an object, rather than something to hide. The crack is not a flaw. It is evidence of survival.
We made clothing for people who believe that about themselves.
The Faith
Christianity holds the same truth in different language. "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." The broken place is where strength enters. The scar is sacred. What the world reads as damage, faith reads as testimony.
Kinshin sits at that intersection. The gold vein on each garment is not decoration. It marks where something was mended.
Drop 001
Three pieces. Hoodie, tee, crewneck. Each anchored to a scripture — not printed as a slogan, but stitched into the origin of the design. Made to order, built to last, intended for the person who wears their faith with the same quietness they wear their clothing.
No logos. No hype. Just fabric, gold thread, and the story behind it.
