Garment Care
To care for a garment is to practice the same reverence we bring to the mended thing. A Kinshin piece is made to be worn in — not worn out.
"Gold Seam" Tee
Comfort Colors 1717 · Garment-dyed · 280 GSM
- Wash cold, inside-out, on gentle cycle
- Use mild detergent — no fabric softener sheets
- Air dry preferred; low tumble if needed
- First wash may release excess dye — this is normal for garment-dyed fabric
- Iron inside-out on low heat
"Restored" Hoodie
Lane Seven LS14001 · 400 GSM heavyweight fleece
- Wash cold, inside-out, on gentle cycle
- No bleach
- Line dry or low tumble — high heat damages cuffs and hem
- If embroidered: do not apply direct heat to the stitched area
"Mended Vessel" Crewneck
Independent Trading SS3000 · 380 GSM enzyme-washed fleece
- Wash cold, inside-out, on gentle cycle
- No bleach

DTG Print Care
Applies to all printed pieces
- Always wash inside-out
- No bleach or hydrogen peroxide
- Low heat or air dry
- Iron inside-out on low — never directly on the print
- Do not dry clean
The gold in our philosophy — and on your garment — is not literal metal. But the principle stands: what is precious gets treated with care.
